First a stomach ulcer, now voice problems. Bruce Springsteen has been in poor health since last year. After the singer had to cancel a concert in Marseille a few days ago, his doctors are taking a strict approach: the 74-year-old has to interrupt his world tour for the time being.
Bruce Springsteen has to take a longer break. After the 74-year-old singer canceled his gig in Marseille on Saturday, his concerts in Prague and Milan have now also been canceled. The “Boss” wanted to perform with his E Street Band in the Czech capital on Tuesday, and in Milan on June 1 and 3. The superstar's team announced this on Instagram, among other places.
“Following yesterday's postponement of the Marseille performance due to vocal problems, further examinations and consultations have led to the doctors deciding that Bruce should not perform for the next ten days,” the statement said.

New dates for the concerts at Letnany Airport and Milan's San Siro Stadium will be announced soon. Ticket holders can have their tickets refunded at their original place of purchase. According to the embassy, Bruce Springsteen is recovering well. The European tour is scheduled to continue on June 12 in Madrid. The only stop in Germany is on July 5 in Hanover.
Bruce Springsteen had to interrupt the US part of his world tour in September 2023. A stomach ulcer slowed the rock star down at the time. He canceled all planned dates in his home country until the end of the year. In March 2024, the “Born in the USA” singer returned to Phoenix, Arizona.
Bruce Springsteen was already suffering from vocal problems last year, triggered by the stomach ulcer. His diaphragm hurt so much that he was afraid he would never be able to sing again. He revealed this in a radio interview during his comeback in the spring.
