Around three years after it went on sale, Skoda refreshed the Enyaq. Above all, something is happening technically in the vehicles; Visually, the changes are only minimal.
Skoda has revised the Enyaq. The electric crossover and its coupé offshoot receive more power and range, as well as faster hardware, new software and a new infotainment system in the more powerful versions. The refreshed models can be recognized by minimal visual changes and by their new name without the previous addition iV. They are available in the Sportline, RS and, for the first time, in the luxury L&K version. Prices start at 44,200 euros.
The basic version Enyaq 60 with 132 kW/180 HP is only available as a hatchback and has a built-in 58 kWh battery. It comes with, among other things, a heat pump, reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors and a navigation system as standard.
The manufacturer states the combined range as 398 kilometers. The Enyaq 85, which is also available as a coupé, was one step above. With 210 kW/286 hp, it has an output of 60 kW/82 hp more than the previous Enyaq iV 80. With its revised electric motor, the 2.3-ton truck reaches 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds; it now only stops at 180 instead of at 160 km/h.
Maximum ranges of 563 and 536 kilometers
The equally powerful 85x brings a motor at the front and rear and thus also all-wheel drive into play. It accelerates a tenth of a second quicker and is just as fast. The ranges are given as a maximum of 563 and 536 kilometers. Both versions are equipped with the 77 kWh battery and the 85x can now be charged with up to 175 kW instead of the previous 135 kW.
As usual, the base prices are 48,900 and 51,150 euros (coupe: 51,150 and 53,400 euros). Anyone who opts for the new, most finely equipped version 85x L&K starts at 61,250 euros – the illuminated radiator grille known as the “Crystal Face” is already included.
Preheated battery
You have to invest at least 61,050 euros for the Enyaq RS. The all-wheel drive now has 250 kW/340 hp, and it also now charges eight minutes faster. Zero to one hundred takes five and a half seconds; according to the WLTP standard, the SUV version can now travel 537 kilometers on a single battery charge, and the coupé can travel 543 kilometers.
Helpful: Enyaq 85, 85x and RS can now preheat the battery. Either automatically by entering an HPC loader as a navigation destination or manually.
A new generation of software provides a new user interface for the faster infotainment display, the digital instrument cluster and the head-up display, but only in the higher-priced 85, 85x and RS variants. It should be more intuitive to use than before and offer easier access to the desired functions. The screen offers a control surface for apps, vehicle settings and the newly styled home screen, as well as freely assignable favorite buttons.
