Public argument with his ex and his family: He was silent for a long time, now Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht is speaking for the first time about how much the negative headlines of the last few years have affected him. He even claims to have received death threats.

Actor and musician Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht has had eventful years. In the podcast “Life is Enough” with Aaron Breyer, he speaks for the first time about the negative headlines. Ochsenknecht explains his previous silence by saying that he generally had no great need to communicate “with what was going on.” He knew for himself “what is true and what is not true.” The 32-year-old explained in the podcast that he doesn't have to convince people of the truth who don't want to be convinced.

There has been a stir in recent years, among other things, due to a publicly fought Rose War between Ochsenknecht and his ex-girlfriend, the reality star Yeliz Koc. The two have a daughter together. The 30-year-old repeatedly claimed that her ex-partner hardly cared about the now two-year-old Snow.

There was also a dispute with his mother Natascha and sister Cheyenne Ochsenknecht, some of which was reported in the media. One reason is said to have been Ochsenknecht's relationship with the racing driver Laura-Marie Geissler, because of whom he had distanced himself from his family. The 32-year-old was no longer there in the last season of the documentary soap “These Ochsenknechts”.

Fear of looking at your cell phone

Ochsenknecht explained in the podcast that it was a long process for him to open up now: “I had phases where I just sat on the sofa, my hair was greasy, I couldn't even cry anymore.” The 32-year-old, who also reported death threats, sometimes no longer dared to pick up his cell phone “and see something again.” The actor and musician added that he sometimes only lived with fear: “I didn't go out anymore.” He “really had social anxiety” and still has it to some extent, says Ochsenknecht.

He now wants to show through his music what he processes. That's why the last songs he wrote were more emotional.

“The Traitors” in the stream

“The Traitors – Trust No One!” missed it on RTL? The first season, which won the German Television Prize, is available on RTL+.

Ochsenknecht also revealed that he was undergoing therapy. It was good for him to have someone he could trust and talk to about anything, he said about his therapist. He advises everyone listening not to suppress and show their feelings.

Natascha and Uwe Ochsenknecht's son, who became known through the film series “The Wild Guys”, will soon be back with a new TV project. He is in the Halloween special of the RTL format “The Traitors – Trust Nobody!” which starts on October 10th.
