In January, sparks ignite between Leyla Lahouar and Mike Heiter in the RTL jungle camp. Shortly afterwards, the reality TV dream couple are already making plans for the future, which they are now putting into action. A big step, especially for Heiter. He is moving from the children's room straight into the love nest.

On “I'm a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” (IBES), one or two doubters may have thought that the gentle flirtation between Mike Heiter and Leyla Lahouar in the RTL jungle camp would not become anything serious. But Cupid's arrow has apparently hit the bullseye in Australia. Shortly after their return to Germany, Heiter and Lahouar made their love public and have been inseparable ever since. So much so that they are now moving in together.

Next week, the jungle couple will sign the rental contract for their “dream house” with a garden in Frankfurt, reports Lahouar in an RTL interview. And just one week later, on September 1st, she and Heiter want to move in. The two don't have to buy much new, because the new place is a designer house that is already furnished. “It just looks so awesome that we couldn't do anything else,” enthuses the 28-year-old.

The move is a real turning point, especially for Heiter. The 32-year-old still lives in his childhood bedroom in his hometown of Essen. For his loved one, he is not only moving out, but also moving to a completely new city. Heiter admits in an RTL interview that he has “never dared to take such a step before.”

“We don't know where we're going”

At least Frankfurt is still in Germany. In fact, Heiter and Lahouar had initially considered emigrating abroad. But maybe not necessarily to Dubai, where many influencers and reality stars are currently headed. After all, there would be a great risk of meeting Heiter's ex-girlfriend Kim Viginia Hartung, who had made life difficult for the lovebirds at IBES. The 29-year-old emigrated to Dubai just a few weeks ago.

However, Heiter and Lahouar still want to keep the option of going abroad open. “We don't know where we'll end up. We might say we want to emigrate in a year or that we'll buy a house,” she explains. That's why the best option at the moment is to move into a furnished rental house.
