As a model, entrepreneur and mother of a small child, Sara Nuru is already extremely busy. Now she has even more to do: the 34-year-old is expecting baby number two with her husband.

Sara Nuru is expecting her second child. The entrepreneur and “Germany's next Top Model” winner from 2009 announced this in a video on Instagram. On Sunday evening she published the recording to the appropriate Britney Spears song “Baby One More Time”. In a black outfit, she is shown first from the front and then turns to the side, revealing her baby bump. She simply commented with a chick emoji and the number 2.

In February 2023, Sara Nuru announced that she had given birth to her first child – also via a video on Instagram, which showed the new mother taking a walk with a stroller in the snow. She commented on the post with two heart emojis and also a chick emoji.

She does not reveal any further details about the birth, the baby's gender or the name of her child. The 34-year-old announced her first pregnancy in September 2022 during a guest appearance on the “NDR Talk Show”. The model keeps her partner out of the public eye. However, it is known that she married in Zurich in autumn 2023.

“How nice”

Several colleagues from show business have already congratulated her on her new pregnancy. “GNTM” co-candidate Ira Meindl, journalist Dunja Hayali and singer Mandy Capristo also commented on the post. Sara Nuru has been good friends with the latter for many years, and she recently visited Italy for a girls' weekend. Rebecca Mir, who took part in “Germany's next Top Model” two years later, wrote: “How lovely. Congratulations.”

Sara Nuru, born in Erding in 1989 to Ethiopian immigrants, beat the competition in the fourth season of “Germany's next Top Model.” She had already gained her first catwalk experience before taking part in the ProSieben show with Heidi Klum.

Nuru is now not only active as a model. She also works as a presenter and has founded a company with her sister that sells coffee from Ethiopia. She is also committed to being an ambassador for sustainable development on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
