The Microsoft co-founder brought his partner to the 10th Breakthrough Awards ceremony at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. The 68-year-old, who ranks fifth in the world's super-rich ranking according to the “Bloomberg Billionaires Index” from early March, wore a black tuxedo and bow tie to the glamorous event. This paired perfectly with Hurd's black turtleneck dress with feather details. She also wore an elegant pearl necklace as an eye-catching accessory.
The couple confirmed their relationship in 2023. Gates and Hurd were previously seen together at sporting events, such as the Laver Cup in September 2022 and the Australian Open in January 2023. They also attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's engagement party last year .

60-year-old Paula Hurd is the widow of former Oracle CEO Mark Hurd. The University of Texas graduate has a bachelor's degree in business administration and is a developer, philanthropist and organizer of “unforgettable event experiences,” according to her LinkedIn page. She has two daughters.
Gates and his ex-wife Melinda French Gates announced their divorce in May 2021 after 27 years of marriage and three children. In a joint statement, they said that while they would continue their work together on their foundation, “we no longer believe that we can grow together as a couple in this next phase of our lives.” Their divorce was finalized in August 2021.
