In the finale of the eleventh season of “The Masked Singer”, singer Loi prevails in the panda bear costume. Toy pirate Joris and Mandy Capristo as the majestic jellyfish, however, are left behind.

Winning with cuteness: The singer Loi won the ProSieben show “The Masked Singer” dressed as a plush panda bear. The 22-year-old, who became known through the show “The Voice Kids,” secured the most votes from viewers in the final. She then took off her mask and sang her current single “Left In Your Love” as an encore.

“It was very, very fun to slip into the panda,” said Loi after her victory. She also gave the costume a name. “I call her Stacy. I think she looks like a Stacy,” said the young musician, whose real name is Leonie Greiner.

“It was an incredible journey”

The bear with glasses and a pink dress prevailed against the toy pirate at the end of the show. Singer Joris (“Heart Over Head”) was under the pirate hat. Among other things, he thrilled the audience with the ballad “Another Love” by Tom Odell. Palina Rojinski was moved to tears at the advice desk.

“It was an incredible journey,” said the runner-up. “It was so much fun to sing without people being able to see my face.” As part of an advertising partnership with a toy manufacturer, the pirate was visually modeled on a toy figure.

Third place went to the majestic jellyfish, portrayed by singer Mandy Capristo. The fact that the former member of the girl group Monrose was in the shimmering costume no longer surprised anyone on the guessing bench – Capristo had been a hot tip for weeks.

“I carried half a car on my head”

In the final, the singer was undoubtedly the candidate with the strongest voice. At the advice desk, Rea Garvey attributed the fact that she still had difficulties against the other participants to the musician's choice of songs. “We're in the final three, and performance isn't just singing,” he noted. With the piece “Dreamgirls” from the musical of the same name and the ballad “How Do I Live” by LeAnn Rimes, Capristo chose two difficult, but comparatively less popular songs.

The biggest challenge on stage was the huge jellyfish head with its long tentacles, said the 34-year-old. “I carried half a car on my head.” She had to constantly be careful not to lose her balance.

“I love singing for my life”

Rapper Eko Fresh came in fourth place in the evening and was the first to have to take off his mask. He took part as “Willi Christmas” – a blue plush monster in a Christmas sweater. “I love singing, in the shower and stuff like that – now I could do it here!” said the 41-year-old after his unmasking. On stage he sang the pop song “Bye Bye Bye” by *NSYNC in a good mood.

This time, two former participants in the show took their place at the panel as prominent guests. The comedians Mirja Boes and Rick Kavanian bet as a team against Rojinski and Garvey.

The eleventh season of the advice show “The Masked Singer” came to an end with the final show. Celebrities appear here as singers, but hide their identities behind costumes and large masks. Only her voice and mysterious clues give any idea who is on stage.
