Please put liquids in a plastic bag, take lighters out of your trouser pockets, and take off your belt and shoes. Security checks at airports are strict – and no matter what you have transferred or taken off beforehand, it usually beeps at the end anyway. Millions of air travelers share this fate every day. Singer Rita Ora will certainly be familiar with the humiliating moment when the scanner sounds the alarm as you walk through and a body search follows. As a global chart-topper who travels from performance to performance, she is a frequent flyer. And therefore a pro when it comes to security checks. So that she can just walk through without having to be laboriously searched, the 33-year-old now apparently wears as little clothing on her body as necessary – or possible.
In a recent Instagram post, Ora appears at a Romanian airport in just her underwear during the security check. She doesn't walk through the scanner in worn-out panties and a bra that doesn't match the color of a normal traveler, no: she's wearing sexy, fiery red lace underwear. And nothing else. Except for black nylon tights and blue plastic bags on her feet because she's obviously put on her shoes too. The latter spoil the overall sexy look a little, but Ora wears them with defiant dignity.
In fact, the singer's daring lingerie appearance is not a travel tip on how to get through security more quickly. Ora was probably just in a hurry to get back to her husband at that moment. That's why she left her stage outfit, which she wore at an open-air concert in the Romanian city of Timișoara, on so she could quickly hop on her private plane to Ibiza. After all, her husband, the director and actor Taika Waititi, was celebrating his 49th birthday there. The most beautifully wrapped gift arrived on the plane.
