Victoria Beckham broke her left foot in the gym in mid-February. But the 49-year-old is not skipping Fashion Week in Paris because of this. She boards the catwalk with a splint and crutches.
Victoria Beckham presented her new collection at Paris Fashion Week on Friday. The designer didn't let her foot injury stop her: With crutches, but still in high heels, the former Spice Girl walked down the catwalk at the end of the show to thunderous applause.
In mid-February, Beckham broke his left foot during a training session in the gym. A short time later, the 49-year-old was seen in public again. Paparazzi photographed her leaving a restaurant in Notting Hill last week: in a splint and with crutches. On the catwalk in Paris she combined them with a black high heel on the other foot and a black outfit.
The designer didn't let the protesting PETA activists, who briefly interrupted Beckham's show with signs saying “Viva Vegan Leather” or “Animals are not material”, put a damper on the designer's plans. Finally, Beckham had enough support on site: In the front row were “Vogue” editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, husband David Beckham and their children Cruz, Harper and Brooklyn with wife Nicola Peltz. The latter stood out in a bright red mini dress and skin-colored fishnet tights.
