To publicize the baby news, Soler and Kroll posted a video on their respective Instagram pages. In the clip, the couple can be seen sitting at a table on a beach. Soler picks up a newspaper with the headline “Baby No 1 coming soon.”
For anyone who hasn't figured it out yet, the two of them then make it very clear: Kroll stands up and shows her bare baby bump into the camera, on which the father-to-be kisses her tenderly. Wedding 2023
In June 2022, Soler and Kroll appeared together on the red carpet for the first time at an event in Berlin. Just over a year later, on May 23, 2023, they said yes. Various photos of the celebrations, which they also made public on Instagram a short time later, bear witness to this.
Kroll wore a white dress by Rosa Clará at the wedding, Soler chose a matching white suit for the occasion. Music colleague Nico Santes suggested in an Instagram comment that he himself was one of the wedding guests: “It was magical!” Soler's “The Voice Kids” colleague Lena Meyer-Landrut, in turn, was happy that the wedding took place on a “Lucky Day” – her own birthday is May 23rd.
The German-Spanish Alvaro Soler was born in Barcelona in 1991. Since his breakthrough with the song “El mismo sol” in 2015, he has regularly delivered summer hits, including “Sofia” and “La cintura”.
For several years, Soler had a relationship with the Spanish pop singer Sofia Ellar, for whom he commuted between Berlin and Madrid. After separating from her in April 2021, he got together with Melanie Kroll, who works as a model.
