New role for British actor Henry Cavill: The “Superman” actor will soon be a father for the first time and is therefore “very excited,” as he reveals at a film premiere in New York.

Henry Cavill and his girlfriend Natalie Viscuso are looking forward to their first child together. The British actor, best known for his role as Superman and the Netflix series The Witcher, confirmed the pregnancy to Access Hollywood. There had previously been speculation because a paparazzi video was circulating on TikTok in which Viscuso could be seen with a baby bump.

When asked about the pregnancy, Henry Cavill said at the New York premiere of the spy film “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare: “I'm very happy about it.” He further confessed: “Natalie and I are both very excited.” As the reporter replied, The actor will definitely be “a great father,” Cavill replied with a smile: “Thank you.” He has not yet revealed any further details, such as the expected date of birth or the gender of the baby.

Also a good team professionally

Henry Cavill and Natalie Viscuso announced their relationship in April 2021. The “The Witcher” star posted a photo on his Instagram account in which he can be seen playing chess with his girlfriend. “This is me looking cool and confident just before my beautiful and brilliant love Natalie destroys me at a game of chess,” Cavill captioned the snap. Viscuso also posted the picture and said she wanted to “teach my dear Henry how to play chess…or…maybe he let me win?” The two then made their red carpet debut in October 2022 in New York City at the premiere of Cavill's Netflix film “Enola Holmes 2”.

Viscuso works as a television executive at Vertigo Entertainment. Not only does the couple seem to get along well in their private lives, they also work together professionally: in December 2022, both announced that they were working on an adaptation of the game “Warhammer 40,000”. “Fantasy, horror and science fiction are the foundation of my creative language. When Henry introduced me to 'Warhammer' a few years ago, I immediately felt at home,” Natalie Viscuso wrote on her Instagram page at the time.
