Is it actually a case of the Gallagher brothers not bringing their big Oasis reunion spectacle to continental Europe? The band announces new dates for their world tour, but they all take place far away.
Oasis attack again – in America. After the band announced their reunion a month ago, America should now also have the chance to enjoy the musical Brits.
The band's new tour dates are similarly modest also announced on X, formerly Twitter. It says: “America. Oasis is coming. You have one last chance to show us that you have loved us all along.” With this, Oasis self-deprecatingly alludes to the fact that they never achieved their big breakthrough in America.
With the new hype behind them, they now apparently want to make up for it. Next year, in addition to the performances in Great Britain and Ireland, concerts are now planned in the USA, Canada and Mexico. The opening act for all American concerts will be the American indie band Cage the Elephant.
Fans who want to attend the tour should register in advance in order to take part in the pre-sale on October 3rd. The normal pre-sale starts on Friday, October 4th – if there are still tickets available. European Oasis fans from the mainland continue to watch the tubes.
The eternally quarreling brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher had such a falling out in 2009 that they had to break up their cult band and continue solo with their own bands. Rumors of a reunion persisted throughout the years, but on August 27, 2024 they finally announced their long-awaited “OASIS LIVE '25” tour.
