At the beginning of the year, it seemed as if ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell and Formula 1 team boss Christian Horner were facing a marital crisis. He was accused of “inappropriate” behavior towards a Red Bull employee. But things seem to be back on track.
Geri Halliwell has once again publicly supported her husband, Red Bull Racing team boss Christian Horner. The former Spice Girls singer paid the 50-year-old a visit at the Formula 1 race in Silverstone on Sunday.
And Halliwell did not come alone: their son Montague, Halliwell's daughter Bluebell and Christian Horner's daughter Olivia were also there. The family appeared together in front of the photographers, with the 51-year-old and the Formula 1 team boss watching the preparations for the race arm in arm.
The family seems to have put the difficult times at the beginning of the year behind them. Christian Horner was accused of behaving “inappropriately” towards a member of his staff. An internal investigation by Red Bull acquitted him. Horner has always vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
Married since 2015
His wife had already appeared at his side after the allegations became known. At the Bahrain Grand Prix in March, the two were photographed holding hands and smiling in the paddock.
In June, the British singer fueled crisis rumours again in a video clip for the French luxury label Dior, as she introduced herself with her maiden name. Why Geri Horner, the ex-Spice Girl's real name today, used the name Halliwell for the clip remained unclear.
Christian Horner and Geri Halliwell married in May 2015 after announcing their engagement in November 2014. Their son was born in January 2017. Halliwell brought her daughter from a previous relationship into the marriage.
