The electrically powered crossover, which has been built since the end of 2020, will now appear in the brand's new “Solid Design” style, which recently celebrated its premiere with the Elroq, which is half a class smaller. A striking feature is the black front bar between the narrower headlights, which replaces the more classic radiator grille of its predecessor. What is also new is that a brand lettering on the front hood replaces the previously used logo. The same applies to the steering wheel in the interior.

Different aerodynamics – higher range

The rear has also been modified and has new LED taillights. In addition, the Czechs have refined the aerodynamics and stretched the body by up to 9 millimeters, which should also ensure greater range. According to the standard, the new ones can cover around 20 to 30 kilometers more distance than their predecessors.

When it comes to SUV and coupe drives, Skoda is slightly reorganizing and is now combining the small 63 kWh battery in the entry-level model with the 150 kW/204 hp motor on the rear axle, which was previously only available with the large battery. The range for the coupé is given as 446 kilometers, the SUV has to be connected 9 kilometers earlier.

There are two variants with an 85 kWh battery, a 210 kW/286 hp version with rear-wheel drive and a range of up to 596 kilometers, and the equally powerful all-wheel drive model that can travel up to 567 kilometers.

The power storage units are charged with 11 kW on a wallbox or normal charging station; 165 kW is possible on the quick charger for the basic model, the version with a large battery and rear-wheel drive can handle 135 kW, and the top model can handle 175 kW.

Skoda also changed the equipment as part of the lift; a heated steering wheel and the digital cockpit are available as standard. A head-up display with augmented reality functions is optional. Prices are not yet known, but the Enyaq is likely to be based on the current models: The basic model Enyaq 60 was last available for around 42,000 euros, the Enyaq 85 for around 49,000 euros.
